About Carbomer SF 22

Carbomer SF 2 is a white granular or powdered substance used as a thickening agent in personal care products, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. It is tasteless and odorless with high viscosity and excellent thickening and stabilizing efficiency. The polyacrylic acid-based polymer has a purity of 99% minimum and is available in granules or irregular powder form. This pharmaceutical and cosmetic-grade product is not poisonous and has a pH sensitivity of 2.5-3.0 (1% aqueous solution). Carbomer SF 2 is slightly soluble in water and swells to form a gel. It is used in gels, creams, lotions, and as an emulsion stabilizer. When properly stored in a cool, dry place, Carbomer SF 2 has a shelf life of two years.
